So, my last post was a little optimistic. Ever since Ben was born, we’ve barely been playing WoW at all. When I get a chance, I have lots of pictures to post, but I probably won’t be writing on the lessons to be learned from WoW… Maybe when Cataclysm comes out.
I’ve been pondering what I really want from this blog. Unlike my other ventures into the world of Blogdom, this has mostly been a place for me to store the history of my travels through WoW. Now, with my classes at the Art Institute of Portland and my presentation on what lessons can be learned from WoW and applied to Web Applications, I’ll be giving this blog an edge. As I come across these lessons and takeaways in WoW, I’ll post on how this can impact our Web Apps, implementations where it has been executed well (if any), and places it can be done better.
Of course, there will still be adorable pictures of Trinna and myself. Oh, and I got the Violet Proto-Drake, so you’ll see that soon, along with some commentary.
Winter Veil is upon us! As soon as I get a free moment, I’ll be getting the last two achievements and I’ll finally have my Drake!
After the Midsummer Festivities, you too could be clothed in burning hot clothing and surrounded in fiery rose petals!
During the Midsummer Fire Festival, you might find Thaen doing a bit of Burning Hot Poll Dancing.
Just for grins, we read up and tried out Razorscale, also in Ulduar. It went better, but we’ll need to do it a few more times before we down her.
After last week’s victory over Flame Leviathan, we delved deeper into Ulduar. Our next real attempt was on XT-002 Deconstructor. It didn’t go so well.
This week is Children’s Week! Besides going for the meta achievement, Trinna and I took Dornaa throughout Outland. In return, we both got Egbert’s Egg.
